Number of deals in the period contracted by a massive 40.6% to 350 as compared to 589 deals during the same quarter in the previous year. While in terms of deal value, Q3 2022 recorded a whopping 80.1% decline and reached USD 4.6 Bn. as compared to USD 23.3 Bn. in Q3 2021.
Advent International and Carlyle Investment Management’s investment of USD 1.1 Bn. in Yes Bank and National Investment and Infrastructure Fund’s acquisition of an equity stake in tunnel Navayuga Quazigund Expressway in J&K for USD 380.0 Mn. were the biggest PE investments during the period.
