Mazars Tax Communiqué May 2016

A lot of significant changes have been carried out in the tax laws during the month of April-May 2016, with the enactment of the Finance Bill, imposition of Krishi Kalyan Cess and changes in Excise and Customs duty rates of certain goods.

With regard to direct taxes, amendments have been carried out in the tax treaty with Mauritius which is now more than three decades old, and also the multilateral agreements for automatic exchange of country by country reports have been entered into.
